We are not experts. We are caregivers who got very good at this.
Our first dog Wriley lived to 19. Since then we have navigated canine cancer, progressive mobility loss, and cognitive decline across a houseful of dogs who taught us that when their legs or memory starts to fade, our job is to bridge the gap.
Luna, our senior German Shepherd, is the reason this site exists. Arlo, our younger Shepherd, keeps her grounded. Every article here started with a problem one of them was having and a fix we figured out in our own home.
